About Me

  My name is Courtney, I was born and raised in Northern Illinois. I have also lived in California and Japan as an adult before moving back to Illinois, where I currently reside. I have always been a fan and have studied/practiced witchcraft, wicca, tarot, pagan, the occult, mediumship, etc., since I was a young kid. Raised with no real religious background, and a father that always talked up my Great Grandmother (wiccan) and his experiences with her and her "friends", I always felt very close to her, although only in spirit, as she passed away before I could ever meet her. 

  As I got older, started having kids at a young age, and got married into the military, I slowly started to put my beliefs on the back-burner. However, after a divorce and a move back "home", over the last decade I have been bringing these parts of myself back into my life that awakened a great love I had lost. Being back in my childhood home (originally my great grandmother's), I realized how much I had buried, a past of hauntings and energies that would fill my head and mess with me - now these energies were coming back to me and my family - I got scared - I had forgotten my strength. I couldn't take much more, so finally I decided to reach out for help, and I was met with either, "ask your local Priest", or with people I felt were taking advantage of a person in a vulnerable postition, and the cost of their "help" was egregious. So then I started to do what I did when I was little, research. What I found was in order to shut down the portals that opened in my home, to banish the entities/spirits in my home, it all came back to ENERGY - and that's when I discovered Reiki. This is what set me on my path to become a Reiki Practitioner , and now, Reiki Master Teacher, so that I could handle this issue on my own, help others at a reasonable price, and also be able to teach and empower others to do the same thing!
